Description:

The Modify Type 1 ported cylinder is specifically designed for M4 length airsoft inner barrel to give the perfect volume of air reducing the amount of stress on your gearbox. Using a non-ported cylinder is to increase FPS is a bit of a myth and you want a cylinder that matches the volume of air needed for a specific barrel length. A type 1 cylinder is the optimal cylinder for barrels 300 to 430 mm in length. While a type 0 (full) cylinder will do the job it will causes you gearbox to work harder and can cause a slight loss in your rate of fire compared to a type 1 cylinder. When changing the size of your barrel it is important to make sure you get a cylinder that is optimal for your new barrel length otherwise the performance of your airsoft gun make suffer. Modify parts are designed to be extremely high quality while still being affordable. Because this upgrade requires the gearbox to be opened up and the cylinder type properly matched we strongly encourage consulting a qualified airsoft tech before doing any work yourself.
