The OKC Asek Aircrew Survival Egress Knife is the knife chosen by the U.S. army to be issued in their Air Warrior Equipment System, and includes both the combat / survival knife and a rescue tool, along with an ACU camouflaged flame retardant sheath. The sheath has a kydex insert for user safety and two leg security straps as well. The blade itself is made of 1095 Carbon Steel with a zinc coating to protect from rust. It includes a back edge saw and a window glass breaker point on the butt cap of the handle. The rescue tool included comes with strap cutter blades that are replaceable and oxygen system wrenches built in. The knife also has spear holes to be converted into a hunting or fishing tool.
