I had a different rifle bag prior and for the cost which is less than the first (thank you airrattle!) I dinged a star for the straps, it's literally 2 hook and loop straps maybe an inch wide and almost the length of the bag, that really don't do much. I rap them around my scopes a couple times and pray. Please remember, 41 yr old newbie trying to hang on to the teenagers.

There are probably better rifle bags than this one, but I guarantee there's not a better deal. The bag functions like as rifle bag should and protects your investment from damage with some nicely padded sides and a pretty cool velcro system. You get two long velcro strips that you can place however you wish to secure your rifle or whatever else you wish in place. You could probably cut the strips to whatever length suits your needs and you could definitely add as many velcro strips as you want as the whole inside of the bag is compatible. The 5 magazine pouches on the outside of the bag and zippered extra storage area just make it that much easier to cut down on the amount of things you need to bring.

great bag, high quality, Velcro straps included to hold your gun in the bag are a little tricky at first but once you get the hang of them it holds your gun in really well.

Good for transporting.  Room for several magazine/batteries.  Wish the gun secured in a better way inside, but the velcro straps do their job.  Perfect size for an AK-47.
