As with all airsoft stuff I buy, I researched this gun to death. Finally decided to get it and have not looked back. I don't find the weight an issue at all. Very realistic, very maneuverable and just plain feels good. I have been using .20s. Accurate and hard shooting with that weight (380fps). The range drops off after about 100-150 feet using the .20s though. You CAN put a 9.6 in this. Just be careful to protect the wires as you do, it's a tight fight. I use a foregrip, and it's very comfortable.
If you are new to airsoft and want a GOOD gun, not just some "starter" gun, I can highly recommend this one.

Durable
Different looking than most on the field
Accurate
Hard shooting
Feels fantastic to hold and use
I've had it a year and internals all working great still
Easy sling mounts
Accurate enough to be used with a red dot
Plenty of rail
Cons:
Battery is a bit of a bugger, but who cares
