This gun is great, when I bought it I wasn't sure how much it would hold up but wow, what a durable and reliable gun I really recommend this gun

5 of 5 Cant go wrong with an echo 1 November 20, 2013
Reviewer: Matthew Eyerdam from Broadview Heights, OH United States
Echo 1 is always producing great real steal replica airsoft guns that perform better on the field than competitors that are double their price. I own the MRF-S in my personal collection, and it has become my go to for CQB style competitions. It has great rails, a sturdy frame, is lightweight, and is a vital tool for any on point man in a breach team because of its very small body. I run a diamond tactical red dot sight on top and a flashlight lazer combo on the side rails, and that combined with the 11.1 lipo battery from echo 1 makes it a beast on the field. It runs p mags well, and even at a fire rate of 20 rounds a second it never miss feeds, jams, or becomes erratic with its fps. Overall this gun is amazing.

5 of 5 Great gun - small hands January 1, 2013
Reviewer: Vipertech from St. Louis
Great gun for all players but perfect for smaller players that can't lug a M16 around the field for 6 hours.  Upgraded components should mean long life and being LiPo ready is a great benefit.

4 of 5 Solid M4 that is easily upgradeable July 29, 2012

Stock gun is solid and well made but for the price I would have preferred a metal or polymer upper and lower receiver.  The plastic does seem to be fairly high quality and does help keep this gun light.  I added a longer tight bore barrel witha mack suppressor 7" long and the accuracy is great.  The fire rate is awesome and the stock (adjustable!) holds the provided nunchuck battery really nicely.  Overall happy with final product by have around $275 in the gun which seems high considering the plastic receivers.

3 of 5 Echo 1 mini m4 July 6, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from pa
My friend has this gun, and personally I think it looks dumb. Everybody has seen an m4 and to make it into a pistol is just stupid. Apart from the appearence it is a great side arm, and has a very high rpm. I would not reccomend this gun because there are pistols just as good as this gun, but without looking like a joke.

this gun is a great back up and for smaller type players. It looks awesome with a standard m4 mag.
