The hand guard is made from the same strong plastic, and is molded for better comfort in hold the airsoft gun. I ordered the gun in desert tan and it said it was in stock. A few days later I got an email saying it was out of stock... so I decided to order it in the other color so it would come faster. To change it I had to talk to people from AirRattle and email them. Which was pretty annoying given that it said the gun I ordered was in stock. Finally I had gotten them to hange my order . Then when I clicked on the email it sent me to track my order, that did not work either. Pretty irritating over all. At least I got the gun...

Son was happy to receive this but then was disappointed because a battery was needed to use gun but was not included.  If a battery is required for use it should be included.  At the very least, it should be highlighted at checkout so batter could be purchased as well.
