ARES is renowned for their excellent airsoft sniper rifles with enhanced internal parts and superb external quality. The MCM700X is based off of the M40A5, a powerful and dependable sniper rifle for long range applications. Externally, the MCM700X is made out of CNC machined aircraft-grade aluminum and incredibly strong nylon-fiber polymer, just like its real-steel counterpart. The bolt is reinforced to take high-powered springs, the tapered barrel measures in at 24 inches long, and the optic rail is mil-spec for powerful scopes. The trigger unit is also reinforced and incorporates a low tolerance design for easy trigger pulls. Internal construction is on-par with similar airsoft rifles in its class with stainless steel, aluminum, and polycarbonate parts. Pre-installed is a M140 spring that beefs the velocity from 450 to 470 FPS with .20g BBs. The inner barrel measures in at a length of 590mm and has a tightbore diameter of 6.03mm for precision shooting at ranges of 180 feet or more.
